About the Founder
Kelly Calegar graduated from the Choreocosmos School of Cosmic and Sacred Dance in Roncegno, Italy in 2003. As a certified instructor of Choreocosmos she teaches locally (Chapel Hill, NC) and nationally. Kelly and her husband Dennis have three wonderful children, all of whom attended the Denver and Emerson Waldorf Schools, kindergarten through Grade 8.
Kelly has a double degree in Economics and Modern Dance from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She is trained as a financial accountant and has served on several non-profit boards. She has been involved with Turning Point Theatre through which a film documentary called A New Kind of Listening, was produced. This documentary advocates for facilitated communication for individuals who are non-speaking.
Kelly is deeply inspired by the Sophia Foundation of North America, and has been a student of Christian Esotericism and Christian Hermeticism for over a decade. Through the universal mysteries, re-opened through Rudolf Steiner and continued through Robert Powell, she was led to the Universal Christology of the Russian Esotericist Valentin Tomberg, and to Astrosophy - a new star wisdom that provides the context necessary for understanding the present world situation, and for creating the future world culture.
